Bio

Dr. Yongzhi Wang is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC), where he leads the Software and System Security Laboratory (SSS Lab). He received a PhD in Computer Science from Florida International University, USA and a BE in Computer Science from Xidian University, China. His research interests include software and system security and privacy, specialized in remote computing security, confidential computing, database security, machine learning security, and federated learning. Dr. Wang has authored more than 40 research publications in premium venues such as the IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (TIFS), IEEE Transactions on Computers (TC), IEEE Conference on Computer Communications (INFOCOM), ACM Symposium on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE), ACM Computer and Communications Security Conference (CCS), the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy (S&P), and International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE). He has served as an instructor of courses such as Introduction to Cybersecurity, Data Management Principles, Secure Programming, Digital Forensics, Advanced Operating System, etc. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
