Dr. Qun Wang is an assistant professor in Computer Science at the San Francisco State University. His research work predominantly revolves around the security and efficiency of systems designed for resource-constrained Edge intelligence applications. His innovative research encompasses enhancing system efficiency and security through the integration of diverse machine learning algorithms, cutting-edge B5G/6G wireless communication technologies, and various hardware and data sets. Dr. Wang's research team collaborates extensively with esteemed colleagues from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and various universities, delving into critical topics such as scientific IoT, edge computing, Intelligent Reflecting Surface (IRS), Spectrum sharing, and traffic prediction-based device coordination. Additionally, he has actively participated in projects focused on enhancing K-12 education for minority groups and fostering inclusive and equitable educational opportunities.
