Bio

Ching-yu (Austin) Huang is an Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science & Technology in the Hennings College of Science, Mathematics, and Technology at Kean University, NJ, USA.

After receiving his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer & Information Sciences from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1998, he gained great exposure in the industries of Finance, Telecommunications, and Biotechnology before he joined Kean University in 2014.

His current research focuses on data science, data mining, data analytics, data visualization, web database application design and development, and computer science education. He teaches Database Management Systems, IT Database Management Systems, Database Systems, Visualization Design and Development, Data Mining Principles, and Programming in Unix/Linux Environment.
