Dr. Kiavash Bahreini, a distinguished computer scientist, specializes in software engineering, databases, and artificial intelligence. He earned his Ph.D. in computer science and computer vision from the Open University of the Netherlands in 2015. From 2009 onward, Kiavash Bahreini Bahreini has held positions as a researcher, developer, and faculty member at esteemed institutions such as the University of Twente, the University of Amsterdam, the Open University of the Netherlands, and the Fontys University of Eindhoven in The Netherlands. In 2022, he joined Florida International University as an Associate Teaching Professor at the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences (KFSCIS) in Miami, Florida, USA. His research interests encompass affective computing, computer vision, and database development.
