Manveen Kaur

Position: Assistant Professor, California State University, Los Angeles

Bio

Manveen Kaur (she/her/hers) received a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University, followed by a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Clemson University. Her broad research interest is in Software and Systems Engineering for emergent Internet-of-Things (IoT) systems with current research focusing on swarms of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or drone swarm systems. In her current work, Manveen is designing, implementing, and testing an evolving communication framework that drone swarms can use to support a variety of data-intensive and performance-sensitive applications. She is especially interested in integrating machine learning into the communication framework for these IoT systems for 'intelligent' communication and operations.
