Sahar Hooshmand is an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science at the California State University Dominguez Hills, since Fall 2021. She has completed her Ph.D. under supervision of Dr. Sharma Thankachan in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida in December 2020.
Her research focuses on String Algorithms, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
